Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
At Kronoday, your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over your data. We are committed to being transparent and to handling your information responsibly.
1. Information We Collect
Account Data
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored in encrypted form). You may optionally provide a display name and profile information.
Payment Data
We do not store your payment information. All transactions are processed by our third-party payment provider. We only receive a confirmation of successful payment and the associated date and amount.
Usage Data
We collect anonymous data about how the Platform is used — including pages visited, dates viewed, and interactions with the interface. This data is used to improve the Platform and is never linked to your personal identity.
Location Data
We detect your approximate country and city at the time of registration using standard IP geolocation techniques. We store only the country and city — your IP address is never stored or shared. This data is used to display our global leaderboard (top countries and cities by date claims and page views). You may opt out of location display in your account settings.
Content Data
Any content you publish on your date page — including titles, messages, images, and links — is stored on our platform and may be publicly visible depending on your privacy settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- →Provide, operate, and maintain the Kronoday platform
- →Process your date license purchases
- →Display your date page content to the public (if set to public)
- →Send transactional emails related to your account and purchases
- →Improve and optimize the Platform based on usage patterns
- →Display aggregated, anonymous location data on the leaderboard
- →Enforce our Terms of Service and content guidelines
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We share data only with:
- →Our payment processor, solely to complete your transaction
- →Our hosting and infrastructure providers, under strict data processing agreements
- →Law enforcement or regulatory authorities, only when required by applicable law
- →A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy
4. Cookies
Kronoday uses essential cookies to maintain your session and keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may affect your ability to log in and use the Platform.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Content published on your date page will be removed upon account deletion. Your date license will be released back to the timeline.
